Revenue from the three city pools increased in 2022 compared to the previous season, according to stats from the city’s parks department.

City pools say about $31,000 more in revenue in 2022 compared to 2021. The biggest increase came from daily pool admissions, which brought in nearly $20,000 more in 2022 than 2021. The city also saw increases in pass revenue and swim lessons.

The city saw a small decrease in revenue from the city’s concessions. Parks Director Jamie Polley says staff have attended conferences and might be changing vendors next year to help that side of the equation.

The parks department sold 791 swim passes this year and served 38,585 total people coming through the three pools.

The city in recent years upgraded its three pools, including Memorial Pool, Kaiser Pool and Schulenburg Pool.
