A developer group are proposing a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Rib Mountain, town officials confirmed to City Pages.
The ownership group of Rolly Lokre of Lokre Companies and Mike Masgay, owner of Tine and Cellar, are proposing a restaurant on Rib Mountain Drive.
Packet material for Wednesday night’s Plan Commission didn’t specify the restaurant but Rib Mountain Community Development Director Jared Grande confirmed to City Pages past print deadline that the restaurant would in fact be a Chick-fil-A.
Commenters online speculated that the restaurant would be Chick-fil-A because the layout resembled a Chick-fil-A recently built in Janesville.
Grande also confirmed there are plans for the former Tanglewood Lanes building, which is currently being used as a Halloween shop. A developer would turn that into an event hall, Grande told City Pages.
Right now the closest Chick-fil-A locations are in the Fox Valley, including Green Bay and Oshkosh. Most of the restaurant’s locations are in the southern part of the state.
