Be transported back in time to ancient China with dazzling costumes, highflying acrobatics, and live stage combat demonstrations with the Chinese Warriors of Peking, a group of Chinese acrobats and martial artists founded in 1958. Their stage show is set during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and tells the story of two rival martial arts disciplines competing in the ancient Chinese capital of Peking. It’s not only entertaining, it’s also a culturally enriching experience filled with traditional acrobatics, weapons handling, juggling and more. You’ll leave this performance awestruck at the abilities of these performing artists. 7:30 pm. Tickets start at $35. Grandtheater.org, 715-842-0988.
