An Evening with Rucksack Revolution
Friday, 11/17 | Whitewater Music Hall, Wausau

Rucksack Revolution

Adam Greuel and Sarah Vos enjoyed each other’s music so much, they started a band. Each had toured the country for years – Greuel as a member of progressive bluegrass band Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and Vos as a member of folk act Dead Horses – before collaborating as Rucksack Revolution. Their 2023 debut self-titled album is a showcase of thoughtful and introspective folk songwriting. Greuel and Vos’s vocal harmonies and interplaying guitars are spare, graceful and emotionally affecting. Anyone interested in Wisconsin songwriting should make sure to attend this show. 8 pm. $15. www.whitewatermusichall.com

You get Mean Girls, a wickedly funny story about a young woman from the African Savanna who finds herself struggling to fit in with the lionesses of suburban Illinois. Based on the 2004 film of the same name written by Fey, which was itself based on the 2002 book Queen Bees and Wannabees by Rosalind Wiseman.
