When his crew jumps ship upon the sighting of pirates, Captain Jennings is left with a makeshift crew of motley prisoners and Fergus, a sailor who can’t swim, to protect wealthy passengers, the Prescots. As the lady pirate takes over the defenseless Kayla May, you’re in for a swashbuckling musical comedy. Presented by Central Wisconsin Children’s Theatre. Starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. & 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. $15 adults, $13 children and seniors over 60. mycwct.org

‘Mrs. Doubtfire’

Saturday, Feb. 7 | The Grand Theater, Wausau
“Helloooo!” Everyone’s favorite Scottish nanny is headed to Wausau in this internationally acclaimed hit musical that The Hollywood Reporter called “a feel-good, family-friendly comedy that delivers.” Based on the beloved 1993 film, “Mrs. Doubtfire” tells the hysterical and heartfelt story of an out-of-work actor who will do anything for his kids. It’s a lovable, big-hearted musical comedy many need right now — one that proves we’re better together. Starts at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $87-$146. grandtheater.org
