Concert on the Square relocated for weather

Due to severe weather, Wausau Events  has decided to move today's Concert in the Square indoors.

The concert, which features Johnny & the Motones, has been moved to the Rothschild Pavilion, located at 1104 Park Street in the Village of Rothschild.

“It’s unfortunate that the weather is affecting another concert this season,” said Alissandra Aderholdt, Executive Director of Wausau Events. “The forecasted conditions make it impossible for our vendors to set up safely. We’re grateful to have a beautiful indoor venue like the Pavilion to keep the show going. Johnny & The Motones are a local favorite, and we’re excited to welcome everyone there tonight.”

Doors open at 5 p.m., with music starting at 6 p.m. While food vendors are available on site, guests are also welcome to bring their own food and beverages. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs. Standing room will also be available.
