If you use your local library’s digital services, prepare in advance so that you don’t find yourself stuck without anything to read next Tuesday.
On Sept. 23, libraries in the Wisconsin Valley Library Service area will undergo a system upgrade, which will limit access to online services such as the online library catalog; ebooks and digital audiobook access for new holds, checkouts and renewals on Overdrive/Libby; online resources; and checking in returned materials.
All branches of the Marathon County Public Library will be affected, as well as libraries in Clark, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida and Taylor Counties.
The upgrade is expected to last most of the day. For Sept. 23 hours in case of closure,contact your local library.
