Wausau Police during a traffic stop arrested a man on charges of possessing drugs and guns, including one that was stolen and another with an illegal modification.

Police arrested Giovanni Paolone, 45, on Dec. 23, according to Marathon County Jail Roster records. Police say they pulled Paolone over on a traffic stop and turned up cocaine, plus seven guns. One of those guns was stolen, police say, and another one police say had illegal modifications to allow it to function as a fully automatic weapon.

According to Marathon County Court Records, Paolone is being held in Marathon County Jail on a $2,000 cash bond. He is currently being charged with receiving stolen property between $5,000-$10,000 or a firearm, converting a weapon into a fully automatic, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of cocaine.

Paolone is due back in court Friday for a review hearing.
