Mosinee-based real-estate development and property management company S.C. Swiderski announced that its fifth annual Community Action Service (CAS) Food Drive received 3,317 donations of food and money to benefit 12 food pantries across the state.
S.C. Swiderski matched all donations 1:1, bringing the total of all donations to 6,634.
“Our internal volunteer committee, CAS, started annual food drives in 2018,” said Jacqui McElroy, a representative of the CAS committee. “...It has grown every year since then, and we are so excited about this year’s success and thankful to everyone who continues to help us in our efforts to have a positive impact on our communities.”
In a press release, S.C. Swiderski thanked “all employees, residents and neighbors that contributed to the success of this year’s food drive,” stating that the initiative “directly correlates to the company’s mission and values of developing and strengthening communities.”
CAS is a committee, led by S.C. Swiderski employee volunteers, that provides community support with the goal of making a positive impact and contributing to “the overall well-being of our neighbors,” according to their mission statement.
