Congressman Tom Tiffany announced on Tuesday that he is running for governor of Wisconsin, with a launch event to kick off his candidacy held in Wausau on Wednesday.
“It has been an honor to represent my friends and neighbors in western and northern Wisconsin in Congress, where I worked alongside President Trump to secure our border and deliver the largest tax cut in history for families, seniors and small businesses,” Tiffany was quoted in a press release announcing his candidacy on Tuesday. “Now I’m ready to lead for every corner of our state.”
Tom Tiffany has represented Wisconsin’s seventh congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2020. Prior to that, he served seven years in the Wisconsin Senate and two years in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
As of press time, Tiffany is expected to have outlined “his vision for Wisconsin” at his launch event on Wednesday evening.
