Friday, Jan. 23 │ The Grand Theater, Wausau
One of country music’s biggest stars of the 1990s, few artists have had such a successful run, with four albums in a row reaching the top of the charts and gaining platinum status. Between 1991 and 2007, Raye charted 30 singles on the U.S. country charts, including four #1 hits: 1992’s “Love, Me” and “In This Life,” 1995’s “My Kind of Girl,” and 1998’s “I Can Still Feel You.” Collin continues to crank out soulful, heartfelt material with the honesty and richness that is signature to his vocals alone. This truly electrifying performer of his era remains one of the great voices of our time. Starts at 7:30 pm. $49-$84. grandtheater.org
Saturday 1/24 | Marathon County Public Library, Wausau
This winter the Friends of Wausau Historic Landmarks are diving deeper into the architects that built Wausau’s neighborhoods and created the familiar skyline we all know. This program focuses on architect Philip Dean, who designed many well known buildings in the Wausau Area, including the Wausau Gas, Coke & Light (PAF Building at 401 4th Street), the Spencer Block (Back When Cafe at 604-606 North 3rd Street) and the Pilot Building (Shepherd & Schaller at 325 Scott Street). His residential designs include the Classical Revival home of Margret Schofield on Steuben Street. 1:30 p.m. in the Wausau Community Room (second floor).

All month | Woodson Art Museum, Wausau
Gorgeous gilded-age colors will shine through Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum with the largest traveling exhibition of Tiffany lamps to date. Starting with a seemingly simple question — is a lamp genuine Tiffany or a deliciously deceptive Ti-phony? — this exhibition sheds light on an unexpected tale of innovation, desire, and imitation. In the late 1800s, Louis C. Tiffany’s studios embarked on an aesthetic odyssey that revolutionized glass artistry. His designers envisioned intricate, exuberant lampshades using a palette of hues and textures unlike anything seen before. Tiffany or Ti-phony culminates with an alluring assortment of genuine and fake lamps, and an opportunity for viewers to reflect on how they have experienced the influence of Tiffany lamps. Organized by The Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass, Queens, New York, it is the largest traveling exhibition of Tiffany lamps to date.
