Aspirus begins emergency department expansion 

Aspirus Wausau Hospital has begun expansion on a new roughly 30,000-square-foot emergency department, Aspirus officials say.  The expansion began Monday and will roughly double the space from the old emergency department, Aspirus spokespeople say.  The move comes as demand for emergency department space has grown, Aspirus officials say.
